  • FISHING REPORT DEC 30, 2011

We fished a nice group today, and were blessed with perfect conditions, the scattered light rains have moved out of our area, and the sun is shining brightly! The seas are calm, with a long period ground swell. The current is strong to the East, just the way we like it!

We hooked a big blue marlin, right off the bat only two miles off the beach, in 1.000` of water, after a bunch of jumps, he unfortunately threw the hook.

We continued fishing to the east, and encountered a nice current rip, where we caught a nice bunch of big king mackerel, and some Spanish mackerel. No dorado this time, but the other boats did well on medium-sized blue bombers!

We are busy now, fishing nearly everyday, just the way we like it!
