Fishing during the month of February here on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic is shaping up to be one of the best ever, if last month is any indication. BIG Dorado are coming in like crazy, along with plenty of medium and giant-sized wahoo. I have seen yellowfin tunas approaching 100#`s, although twenty and thirty pounders are much more common.
Big schools of bonito are moving through, and the river mouth at the Rio San Juan is packed full of sardines!
We have been booking quite a few trips in March and April, and have some prime spots still left in February, so inquire today......experience some of the best, un-discovered, un-spoiled fishing in the Caribbean!
Whale watching season is upon us, with February and march being the two best months. It is not unusual to see several huge humpback whales during the course of a sportfishing trip!
